Where can I play?

If you are between six and fifteen years old, you can play Futsal at 2 great locations around Newcastle, all year round during school terms:

  • MONDAYS Cessnock Toyota Stadium 5:30 – 6:30pm (U6-12 years old)

  • WEDNESDAYS Swansea High School

    – 5:30 – 6:30pm Primary Schoolers (U6-12 years old)

    – 6:30 – 7:30pm High Schoolers (12-15 years old)

We’ve created a fun, competitive environment where the players have the opportunity to have lots of game time. We adapt the games nights and competitions to the numbers, experience and requests of the players involved. No need to worry if you don’t have a team yet – we will find one for you. We have FFA accredited coaches facilitating the evenings and NSW Football registered referees controlling any competition games.

Currently taking registrations for TERM 3!

Futsal is an awesome game in its own right, but it’s also the foundation of the best footballers in the world.

Joey Peters heads up Newcastle Futsal

Former Matildas and Newcastle Jets W-League representative Joey Peters is excited to bring the small-sided, fast-paced game of futsal to her home town.

“I enjoyed playing futsal when ever possible to keep up my skills and sharpness for the outdoor game. Having to think and act faster in a smaller context… It really is the golden game of development.”

Now an FFA A-Licence Accredited Coach,  Joey’s passion is now working with beginners, developing players and seeing young people fall in love with the game.
“Futsal is wonderful game to introduce kids to. Anyone can play! It’s amazing how quickly they improve their skills and gain confidence.”
